Click for a roadmap of Connecticut From points Northwest Torrington, Litchfield, Winsted: Take CT-8 South toward Waterbury Take the US-6 E exit- EXIT 39- toward Bristol Off the exit, make a left onto US-6 E Travel 3.5 miles through Plymouth and Terryville Turn right onto CT-72 / S Riverside Ave. Travel 3.1 miles to junction of CT-69 Make a right onto CT-69 Take third left onto (one-way) Upson Street (Chic Miller Chevrolet on corner) Go 1/4 mile to entrance of museum parking lot on left From points Southwest Waterbury, Naugatuck, Southbury/Woodbury: Take CT-8 North toward Waterbury Take the US-6 E exit- EXIT 39- toward Bristol Off the exit, make a right onto US-6 E Travel 3.5 miles through Plymouth and Terryville Turn right onto CT-72 / S Riverside Ave. Travel 3.1 miles to junction of CT-69 Make a right onto CT-69 Take third left onto Upson Street (Chic Miller Chevrolet on corner) Go 1/4 mile to entrance of museum parking lot on left Danbury: Take I-84 E to exit 20, CT-8 N (left exit) Continue with directions above (from Waterbury) From points East Hartford, West Hartford, Windsor Locks: Take I-84 West to exit 33 Take Route 72 West (expressway) toward Bristol Go 2.8 miles to the end of the expressway, and make a right onto Route 72 (local). Continue straight for 3/4 mile. Continue to follow Route 72 West by zig-zagging right and then immediately left. Go another 1.5 miles to the junction of Route 229 / King Street. Continue to follow Route 72 West by making a left under the bridge and then make an immediate right. Continue STRAIGHT onto Memorial Boulevard (Route 72 will bear to the right and then reconnect in another mile). Go 1 mile to the 2nd light at the intersection of Memorial Blvd. and Route 72 / N. Main Street. The Imagine Nation Museum is located to your left on the corner of Church Street and Pleasant Street. For street parking, make a left and an immediate right onto Pleasant Street (one-way). To access the museum's parking lot, make a left onto Church Street and go 1/4 mile to the light at South Street. Make a right onto South Street and go 1/4 mile to the junction of Route 69 / West Street. Make a right onto West Street and take your first right onto Upson Street (one-way), after passing Chic Miller Chevrolet (closed). The museum parking lot is on the left hand side near the end of the street. New Britain, Newington, Middletown: Take CT-9 South (from Newington area) or North (from Middletown area, etc.) Merge onto CT-72 W via exit 28 and proceed 6.5 miles on expressway Continue with directions above (from Hartford) Glastonbury, Wethersfield: Take I-91 S toward New Haven to exit 22N, CT-9 N Merge onto CT-72 W via exit 28 and proceed 6.5 miles on expressway Continue with directions above (from Hartford) From points South New Haven, Hamden, Wallingford, Meriden: Merge onto I-91 N toward Hartford Merge onto CT-15 N/Wilbur Cross Pkwy via Exit 17 Go 1 mile and merge onto I-691 W via Exit 68W toward Meriden/Waterbury. Go 7.5 miles and merge onto I-84 E via Exit 2 toward Hartford. Go 3.5 miles and take Exit 31 - West Street - toward CT-229/Bristol. Turn left onto CT-229. Go 4.5 miles (becomes CT-229 / Middle Street) and turn left at Aldi's Market onto Mountain Road. After 1/4 mile, Mountain Road becomes South Street, proceed to 4th traffic light Turn right onto West Street (Route 69) Take your first right onto (one-way) Upson Street (Chic Miller Chevrolet on corner) Go 1/4 mile to entrance of museum parking lot on left.
