Odor eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest®

The Imagine Nation Museum will be sponsoring the 13th Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest® on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00pm sharp at Roberts Orchards, 125 Hill Street in Bristol.   Children ages 5-15 are invited to enter this zany beauty contest where a team of judges will be looking for the most worn out and smelliest pair of sneakers they can find!  Contestants will take to the runway to show off their famed, foul-looking, and stinky sneakers to our prestigious team of Odorologists. Contestants must be wearing their own sneakers that have been naturally worn out. The winner of this regional contest will receive lots of fame, Odor-Eaters Products®, $200.00, and the Golden Sneaker Award. The winner will also compete in the National Contest to be held at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in New York City. Please register by calling the museum at 860-314-1400.  Registrations will also be accepted at the museum booth at Roberts Orchards the day of the event between 12:00-1:45pm. In the event of inclement weather, the contest will be held on Sunday, October 5th

Girls Night Out: Tools to Live By!

*GIRLS* this program is for girls ages 8-13 and their mentors, mothers, or a special friend!

Traditionally women learned homemaking and men learned a trade.
Tonight we will turn tradition around as we showcase the basic tools every girl should know how to use. Take home your very own tool box upon completion.

Programs are held from 6-7:30pm at Imagine Nation Museum in our Soda Fountain. We begin with dinner followed by the program at 6:20pm.

Mission: Encouraging young women to strengthen positive relationships with their mentor, mother or special friend while gaining valuable life skills to empower them and enhance their abilities to succeed in the future.

2014 Concept: Traditions, Trades & Talents
Passing it on...time to learn & play together, one generation to the next.
